Heat the corn oil in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in the corn kernels once hot. When popcorn begins popping, stir in sugars. Cover the pot with a lid, and shake the pot continually. Allow the corn to pop, until popping slows to two or three seconds between pops. Remove the pot from the stove, and continue to shake the pot until the popping stops. Pour into a large bowl and season with salt to taste. Allow popcorn to cool to room temperature. Break apart any large clumps of popcorn.
Popcorn Tip: Add 3 or 4 unpopped kernels in the oil as it is heating. Shake the pan as it is heating. Once the kernels all pop, add the remaining kernels and continue popping.
