Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease brownie bites pan.
In a large bowl, blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Gradually blend dry ingredients into the egg mixture. Fill each prepared brownie well 2/3 full with the batter.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Do not over-bake. Let brownies cool completely and then run a plastic knife around the edge of the brownies to loosen. Using the plastic knife, gently pry the brownies up and remove from pan.
Note: If brownies do not easily release from pan, place pan in freezer for 15 minutes.
