Creamy Collard Greens

1lbCollard Greens
2 oz.butter, unsalted
1/4 cuponion, minced
1T.garlic, minced
1/2Cred bell pepper, brunoise
4oz.chicken broth
4oz.heavy cream
2tspcholula hot sauce, or favorite hot sauce
to tastesalt and pepper


In medium sauté pan, heat 1oz. vegetable oil.

Add onion and garlic, sauté for 1 minutes

Add red peppers.

Add chicken broth, heavy cream and hot sauce.

Add greens and simmer for 8-10 minutes or till tender. Do not overcook

Season with Salt and Pepper.
