 Creamy Collard Greens| 1lb | Collard Greens | | 2 oz. | butter, unsalted | | 1/4 cup | onion, minced | | 1T. | garlic, minced | | 1/2C | red bell pepper, brunoise | | 4oz. | chicken broth | | 4oz. | heavy cream | | 2tsp | cholula hot sauce, or favorite hot sauce | | to taste | salt and pepper |
Instructions
In medium sauté pan, heat 1oz. vegetable oil.
Add onion and garlic, sauté for 1 minutes
Add red peppers.
Add chicken broth, heavy cream and hot sauce.
Add greens and simmer for 8-10 minutes or till tender. Do not overcook
Season with Salt and Pepper.
