2 cups plus 2 teaspoonsunsalted butter

City Bakery Simple Cookie Press Cookies - Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 F.

Put the butter in the mixing bowl of a stand mixer. Attach the bowl to the mixer with a paddle
attachment. Mix on low speed until butter softens slightly. With the mixer running, add the sugar to the
butter with a slow, constant pouring motion.

Stop the mixer and add half the flour and cornstarch. Mix on low speed until the dry ingredients are
partly incorporated. Stop mixing and add the remaining flour and cornstarch. Mix on slow speed until all
dry ingredients are combined into the butter. Do not over-mix.

Line cookie baking sheets with parchment paper. When the oven is preheated, put small batches of cookie
dough into a cookie press. Squeeze onto cookie sheet in desired shapes. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or
until cookie edges turn slightly golden.

Makes approximately 48 cookies.
