Mona's Salsa Stew

2 poundsboneless pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
2 tablespoonsbutter
1 cupchopped white onion
2garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoonsalt
1/2 teaspoondried oregano
1/4 teaspoonground cumin
1 jar (16-ounces)Mona's Salsa


1. Toss pork with flour.

2. In a Dutch oven or heavy pot, melt butter and add pork cubes a few at a time. Stir to brown. Remove from pan and keep warm.

3. Add onion and garlic to pan and cook until onion is transparent. Stir in browned pork. Add remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer one hour or until tender. Add water if necessary or additional salsa. Makes 4 servings
