Product Story
Iconic-shaped probe thermometer measures internal temperature of slow-cooked dishes. Has a magnetic back that allows it to stay firmly adhered to your slow cooker. Its probe is capable of registering internal temperatures of 32°F to 392°F and 0°C to
200°C, meaning you can precisely measure that pork roast to ensure it remains perfectly sliceable or prevent your chicken from being served less than 165°F. Inside the box, you will find the Taylor 9849 thermometer and 1 LR44 battery. This thermometer is backed by a 1 year limited warranty. While Taylor traces its history back to 1851, Rob Kay and the private equity firm Centre Partners teamed up in the Summer of 2012 to acquire Taylor Precision Products as a platform from which to create a global leader in the housewares industry. At the time, Taylor was focused exclusively on scale and measurement products, and with commanding market positions in these categories, the company had pervasive distribution across all classes of trade. Rob's vision is to build upon this infrastructure and become a full spectrum provider of houseware products selling into these same channels, and thereby offering a greater value proposition to its customers and the consumer.
  • Simple functioning display shows temperatures in degrees F and degrees C

Taylor Slow Cooker Digital Probe
I used this to make my Christmas fudge. I also used it to start some homemade yogurt. It works great so far. I am planning on purchasing a couple more for gifts. It is one of my new favorite toys in the kitchen!
