This is a simple treat for Passover or anytime. Let your kids use their imagination with the combinations. Featured in the images: white chocolate with pistachios, dark chocolate with peppermint/candy canes & Milk Chocolate with Coconut
Box of plain matzo, broken into irregular pieces
Bag of Bittersweet, semi-sweet, milk and/or white chocolate, chips or chopped chocolate (Your choice on what chocolate you prefer)
Choose what toppings you like best!
Dried coconut, crushed candy canes, pistachios, pecans, almonds, sprinkles, dried fruits
Carefully melt the chocolate. If any water splashes into it, it will seize and be unusable for dipping. Should that happen, you can add some cream and use it as chocolate sauce.
When it all looks softened, remove the bowl and carefully remove the plastic wrap. Stir to combine and let it cool slightly before dipping.
Line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment. Hold each piece of matzo and drag it through the chocolate. You can coat 1 or both sides. Lay them on the parchment. Sprinkle with the toppings and allow to set at room temperature. Unless it’s very warm in the room, they should be set in 1 to 2 hours. Leave at room temperature.
