Meet Our Team

Hi, we’re CHEFS!

Since 1979, we have reached chefs of all skill levels, from cooking enthusiasts to professional Chefs. We are passionate about cooking and have some amazing folks on our team - from customer service rockstars to marketing guru’s to IT wizards.

In our Meet CHEFS series, we want to introduce you to the folks that make everything we do possible. That way, when you open your CHEFS delivery, you’ll know some of the hard workers that helped get it there!

Job Description: I'm responsible for coordinating and managing the process of bringing new vendors and new products onto the CHEFS website.

What's one tool you can't live without in the kitchen? Why?
My vegetable chopper – because I don’t have to cry every time onions are involved in a recipe. Also chopping anything is done in 5 seconds.

What is always in your fridge or cupboard?
La Croix. Frozen Guittard chocolate chips.

What is your favorite place to eat in Napa?
This is difficult… Small World, Gran Electrica, Oenotri, Sushi Haku…

What is your favorite spot to grab a drink in your neighborhood?
Oxbow or La Taberna

What’s your go-to meal of choice?
Mexican food.

What’s your least favorite food and why?
Fish, unless it’s in sushi form. I’ve tried to like it, but it’s just too gross.

Who influenced you to enjoy cooking?
I come from a big, close Italian family… my grandma, mom, and aunts were always cooking around me growing up. It's kind of just in my blood.

If you could enjoy a meal with someone, dead or alive, who would it be?

Do you have a favorite food-related quote?
"I cook with wine. Sometimes I even add it to the food."

The best part about living in your town:
There are recently a lot of new, exciting bars and restaurants coming into town. In a land of wine, there are a lot of local breweries emerging, which I love. The restaurant scene is getting trendier, and a lot of young chefs and restaurant owners have a chance to be successful here. Which is not only great news for the tourists who visit but for the locals, too!
