Peppermint Ganache Pie

Yields one 9" pie

Ingredients
22 Oreos, finely crushed
¼ C butter, melted
1 C heavy whipping cream
1 12 oz. bag of milk chocolate chips
½ tsp. peppermint extract
3-4 candy canes, crushed

Directions
Mix the crushed Oreos and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9” pie pan. Chill for 30 minutes.

When the crust is ready, heat the heavy whipping cream in the microwave for about 90 seconds, until almost simmering. Place the chocolate chips in a large bowl, and pour the hot cream over them. Let sit for 30 seconds, then whisk until smooth and thick. Stir in the peppermint extract until well mixed.

Pour the ganache into the prepared crust, and let chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the pie, and enjoy!
