South Korean Inspired Sautéed Spinach

Serves 3-4 people
5 min prep time
5-6 min cooking time
Easy

This is just a spin off plain old sautéed spinach, I usually use lemon and garlic, but was trying to keep the flavors slightly
more traditional.

Ingredients
2 bundles spinach
2 tbsp or so sesame oil
2 tbsp or so water
Sesame seeds
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Add sesame oil and water in pan on med-med high heat, add the spinach (in bunches if pan isn’t big enough) and stir so that the spinach on the bottom of the pan isn’t getting blasted with heat. This will cook very fast so get ready to pull it from the heat to avoid it being all mushy and one texture, I like pieces that aren’t fully cooked mixed in.

To plate, drain excess water and oil (if necessary), serve in a ramekin or small dish and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Add salt and pepper to taste (if so desired)
