Susie Heller has been part of the culinary world for over 35 years. Presently, she serves as Chief of Global Content for the cooking app, Simple Feast. In Cleveland (her hometown until moving to the Napa Valley in 1999) she owned a restaurant and catering company, was a restaurant critic, consultant and caterer. During the 80’s she met Jacques Pépin, Thomas Keller and Julia Child and her career took a life-changing turn into food media where her works have been recognized by the James Beard Awards, International Association of Culinary Professionals, Emmy Awards and New York Times: Best Seller List. In television production, Susie produced and hosted her own cooking shows Cooksmart and Susie Heller’s Table. In addition, she served as a producer on 15 series and specials for public television with Julia Child, Jacques Pépin, José Andres, Michael Chiarello and The French Culinary institute. Susie has produced and co-authored over a dozen cookbooks, including The French Laundry Cookbook and four others with Thomas Keller and works with Jacques Pépin, Tony Gemignani, Mourad Lahlou Michel Richard, Scharffenberger Chocolate and a Short Stack Books.
