What’s better than a delicious margarita on a hot summer day? How about a delicious margarita popsicle! Turning your favorite margarita into a popsicle is way easier than you think. The hardest part is being patient while they freeze!
2 cups fresh watermelon juice
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
1/3 cup tequila
2 tablespoons Triple Sec
8 lime wheels
Combine sugar and 1 cup of watermelon juice in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Whisk together to make sure that the sugar is all dissolved.
Stir in the remaining cup of watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila and triple sec.
Fill each popsicle mold with the watermelon mixture and a lime slice. Freeze for 45 minutes or so until it starts to harden but isn't completely frozen then add your popsicle stick.
Freeze for 4 to 6 hours before serving. Enjoy!
